题目：Distributed Attention and Shared Emotions in the Innovation Process:How Nokia Lost the Smartphone Battle

主讲人：Huy Quy Nguyen 博士，INSEAD商学院战略学教授

主讲人：阮博士在战略变革领域的研究成果曾获多项国际大奖，并发表在众多知名管理学期刊上，例如：《行政管理科学季刊》、《哈佛商业评论》、《管理学会评论》、《组织科学》、《MIT斯隆管理评论》等。他所从事的开拓性研究将“软性的”微观人类行为（比如情绪、象征和时间）与宏观战略流程相联系，取得了享誉世界的成果。阮博士的文章“中层管理礼赞”（In Praise of Middle Managers）被《哈佛商业评论》选为2001年9月刊首文，并列入“面向当今商业要务的突破性思想”年度名录中。他目前正在撰写一部将情绪与战略想联系的著作，将于明年由哈佛商学院出版社出版。

 

讲座摘要：We conducted a qualitative study of Nokia to understand its rapid downfall over the 2005-2010 period from its position as a world -dominant and innovative technology organization.Our study contributes ti the attention-based view of the firm by describing how distributed attention structures influences shared emotion and how such shared emotions can hinder the subsequent integration of attention,influencing innovation processes and outcomes and resulting in temporal myopia-a focus on short-term product innovation at expense fo long-term innovation development.
